I visited on a business trip with two colleagues for dinner. On a weeknight in the winter, the place was pretty dead.

I liked the ambiance. Very clean.

The food was good. I had the Prime Rib burger with a caesar salad. The salad was especially good, but the burger was a little too charred for my liking on the outside. The toppings on the burger made up for it.

At the servers recommendation, I ordered a beer that was being featured. I didn't really care for it. I like Rickards, and they had neither Red nor White.

The server was very friendly, and was the only one on duty. That said, they didn't need anyone else on that night.

“Good spot for food AND drink!”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

We stopped by Fionn's for a few beers and snacks after work. Definitely a popular spot with the 'hip' crowd... and therein lies the 3 stars. Prices are relatively high and the noise level when we were there was annoying (couldn't have a quiet conversation).

Solid 3 stars... nice spot, but I won't be a regular.

“Good Toronto Airport Restaurant Experience”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

We had four hours between connecting flights and Westjet staff helped us find a sit down restaurant after clearing security to terminal C gates. Fionn MacCool's (near gate B24) served good food with a cold beer in a pleasant environment. The prime rib burger, chicken burger and salad were all first rate and our waiter (#2051) was pleasant and helpful.

I just checked Google for details and found we can go to Fionn MacCool's in Edmonton.

“Slow Service”
Reviewed December 18, 2012

For an airport restaurant, this place was not the fastest! Our family have been to other locations of this franchise and never had any problem until now. We were on an early morning domestic flight and hungry. We had an hr to spare so thought we'd grab a bite. We told the hostess we had time constraints and was told it wouldnt be a problem just mention it to the waiter, which we did. Again no problem so we ordered the basic breakfast meals; eggs, homefries & toast. We waited 45mins for it to be delivered to our table!! Although the location is across from the security area, it was by no means busy. I was ready to walk out when the food came. Having to gobble down food in a hurry made for a very uncomfortable flight! If timing was going to be an issue, we should have been told! To add salt to the wound, our bill was an over-inflated $67!! For breakfast!! Never again. I will wait in a Timmy's line for a morning bagel and coffee!

“Irish Pub”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

It was sort of a dark place-lighting wise. Food was OK. Service slow the day we went and server not too happy. Probably another day and a different server might have been better.
