“Great selection of wines!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2013

Great food, great wine (and plenty of choice) - a must go to place for sure! There is a broad prize range to choose from, but the Californian red was absolutely delicious!!

“Enjoyable evening”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2013

We sampled several of the wines and cava offered by Crush during the course of our evening at Crush. We were sat near the large, open windows which provided the ambiance of a pleasant, Spring evening. The bar area is simply but stylishly decorated and there is enough space between tables to ensure privacy of conversation. A rare treat! Our server was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about all the wines and food and made some excellent recommendations. We sampled the charcuterie plate as well as a selection of cheeses. Both delightful. On the recommendation of our server, we tried dessert wines teamed with the most delicious chocolate truffles ever. A mouthful of Christmas!
Crush is highly recommended by us.

“once-a-year-brunch”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 12, 2013

Crush operates a Sunday brunch once each year on Mother's Day. My family was there today
and I would suggest that the venue, lovely as it is, needs to decide whether this is the way to go. Service, totally pleasant, is slow and forgetful - furthermore, the portions for the price - for the pancakes, at any rate - are stingy and baffling.
When our server was told that we were surprised by the miniscule serving of two small pancakes in a serving that cost $14/$15, she responded by saying that Crush offers only one brunch a year. I can't begin to understand how that answer was related to my comment - and I was not abrupt. I also made it very clear that I wasn't bring critical of the server, herself.
I should add that when I called to reserve and said we needed one highchair, the receptionist was terrific in saying that though the restaurant has no highchairs of its own, that it would borrow one from the many other venues located nearby.

“Finally crafted food in a casual setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2013 via mobile

We visited Crush as a group for dinner & found the cuisine truly interesting and thoughtfully prepared. I had perfectly prepared lamb shoulder over a selection of vegetables - nothing over cooked and it was delicious. The side of locally grown mushrooms was one of the best I have ever tasted. The service was more than attentive. The one down side was that the main room was a little loud but there was a side room that would have been perfect for a larger party & allowed easier conversation.
