“Great little spot.”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Here's a place that i have walked by so many times and never went in; now I regret all those times that I missed. The food is excellent and portions are made to satisfy your appetitie. The smoked meat and poutine are comfort food at it's best. My only negative is that I ate so much that I put myself in a food coma....lol!
If you're looking for place that has decent service, a great atmosphere and central location, you need to find the The Corned Beef house! You will not be disappointed. Everything from the food, location, service and excellent value for your money!

“Great value for your buck”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

We went to lunch here today and the sandwiches are big. We ordered the standard size (they come in 3 sizes) and it was piled high with meat. The bread was fresh. Lunch for 3 was under $25. If you are looking for Deli sandwiches in Downtown Toronto, this is the place to go. It is decorated nicely and has great views of the streets below. Sevice is excellent and fast. Lunch time gets busy so try to get there early. Well worth the wait though.

“Huge is an understatement!”
Reviewed April 19, 2013 via mobile

A true gem in downtown Toronto.
Great meats and smoked meats piled high on your choice of breads.
Poutine.....you have to try it just once.
Three sizes of sandwiches, but believe me the huge (the smallest size) is more than enough to satisfy your appetite.
It's a gotta go to in Toronto.

“The BEST”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

I'm a NY Jew so I know great corned beef. This is GREAT corned beef. And the Pastrami (smoked meat) is just as great. Huge size sandwiches and very reasonable prices. Great staff, good beer. A great place to hang. If I lived in Toronto I'd be here all the time.

“Really Excellent Lunch Spot Downtown”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

Ended up here after attending a large convention. We were after the usual lunch hour rush, so that there was no waiting for a table. Service was corteous and prompt. Typical table seating or bench seating. Lovely location with large windows looking out over the sidewalk along Adelaide ave. The selection of sandwiches was extensive, and the range of actual SIZES of was amazing (do NOT order the Colossal size unless you are REALLY hungry).
The sandwiches were extremely generous with fresh bread or buns. Excellent french fries.
The most important thing was the great range of beers on tap, local, domestic, and imported.
