A colleague and I took a customer here for dinner. The restaurant was very quiet, which was a shame because it was very good. Our waitress had an excellent knowledge of the traditional Italian foods available. the wine list had a few super Tuscans at decent prices and they had an exceptional but expensive grappa to finish the meal. If you need to take someone high end in Toronto and don't want to wait months for a table at Canoe, then this will impress. I had the Caprese starter and the gnocchi with blue cheese sauce to follow - both were excellent. My guests had excellent grilled calamari and the italian cold meats respectively. Forthe main course, one had risotto which he raved over and the other had fazzoletti, which invoked an equally enthusiastic response. The meal would have been been reasonably priced, but our choice of red wine (2 bottles) and grappa bumped the bill up to over CAN$400. However, it was a productive dinner and worth the investment!

Friday evening mid-summer - not crowded (Toronto exits the city and we're left with easy access). Very good wine list - both by-the-glass and regular. Not stingy glasses. Food a big surprise - wonderful! Simple menu and daily add-ons. Food beautifully presented and excellent. Very attentive service and reasonable prices. We will return soon!

A colleague recommended Bravi to me for dinner. Bravi had wonderful service, fabulous food, and a nice, relaxing atmosphere! I particularly liked that the restaurant wasn't noisy (it was a Tuesday evening, but I like that the music wasn't loud, which is a complaint I have of many other restaurants).

I would recommend this restaurant for any occassion, from a romantic dinner to a business dinner. It is our new favourite restaurant in Toronto!

Bravi has become over the years a reliable and trusted restaurant in Toronto. We usually go there before the theatre so we appreciate service that is efficient, helpful and insightful. However, the food is the real draw. Last night our party started with calamari, the romaine salad and the special soup- made even more "special" by limiting-by request- one of the elements. My husband reported that sopa di pesci to be delicious. The romaine salad with sun-dried tomatoes had the right amount of dressing so that it was not overwhelmed by too much dressing- a problem in most restaurants. If the appetizers were very good, the mains were outstanding. I ordered the risotto with duck and sour cherries, one element of the several well chosen ingredients to bring together the rice and duck among the many. The broth was exquisite and the tastes of each ingredient were recognizable, exploding with flavour yet adding to the overall taste of a well prepared risotto. The duck had been prepared separately so there were several individual pieces that again melded into the taste. I ate very slowly to savour each bite. I noted there was another risotto with sausage and again an interesting blend of ingredients that would set off the dish. At the table two others ordered frutti di mare that consisted of scallops and shrimp. Again, it was pronounced excellent. The fourth of our group ordered the special which was a pheasant. And yet again, the entree looked and tasted as if it had been carefully created by a thoughtful chef who knew how to complement the look with a great taste. A lovely gelato with aged balsamic vinegar completed a great meal. we did not have to ask repeatedly for the bill and there was no rush for the theatre. We really enjoyed our meal and look forward to an opportunity to return. We highly recommend Bravi.
