While traveling to great Toronto I do strictly recommend to have lunch or dinner at 360 CN Tower restaurant. The food is not so excellent as expected. However the staff is pleasant and above all, the view is terrific. The restaurant rotates softly while eating and this give the chance to enjoy the panoramic scenario.

Went here with the plan to have our best meal in Toronto and with a great view even though we knew it was pricey. The great reviews in TA had me fooled this time and it is the first time that has happened.

I had a 4 meal prix fixe menu that was:

*Tuna tartare 3/5 Fresh & tasty No complaints but nothing extravagant

*Ravioli with charred butter 3/5 Not bad but as above nothing i will remember

*Prime rib 1/2 This was not good at all. Looked like road kill and it was just lacking flavor.

*Cheesecake with rasperrys 2/5 A step up from bad but you can get better at Cheesecake Factory at half the price.

The price around 75 $ without wine and tip would have been fine with good food but the quality of food was not very good in my experience. I love evrything from a good burger , a meal at chain restaurant as Outback or exclusive high end food depending on my mood.
This was below the Outback/TGI Friday/Cheesecake Factory etc in taste but with approx double the price. Not happy at all.

Sevice was ok but nothing more. You really come here for the view wich is great but i recommend you going up in the tower, look at the view and then have a great dinner at The Keg or somewhere else.

The value here is 1/5 and on our 2 weeks in the US/Canada eating on all kinds of places this was the worst considering the price only beaten by the dry White Castle burgers.

This restaurant had a pretty mediocre reputation for a number of years, and I always avoided it because it was considered a tourist spot that us "locals" wouldn't go to. However, I coincidentally was invited on two separate occasions just two weeks apart (what are the odds?) and can now give it a pretty balanced review.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. The view, of course, is fantastic, and the slow rotating view of the city is definitely a reason to go on its own.
The food turned out to be better than I expected. Not cutting-edge, but well prepared and good quality. Had the lamb one time and the pork tenderloin the next - lamb was better but both were quite good.
Service is a little amateurish - waiters are formal looking, yet overly casual, and not quite experienced enough in higher-end restaurants. Overall, no issues, just a little kinda old-fashioned...
Only real problem is the prices - easily 25% more than you'd expect to pay for the same quality at a reasonably high-end restaurant. I guess it's somewhat fair since you get the ride up and the view for free, but it's definitely not someplace I would go if I was on a budget.

The views are spectacular, the atmosphere was ok, and the restaurant is very busy with quite a lot of noise. The amouse bouche was served within 2 or 3 minutes if sitting down shortly followed by the starter but after that the meal slowed down to a reasonable pace. The food itself was nice but not 5 star. Over all nice experience but you are paying for the view.

If you want to go up the CN tower, consider having a luxury dinner that is indeed pricey (>$60 for a main course) but which takes you up there for free. The food and wine is delicious and the view (at night) is stunning. Romantic, but also suitable for a formal dinner.

The tables are on a (slowly) turning floor which causes the view to change constantly - you might get a bit dizzy at first due to the moving environment.
