Our flight was cancelled at Toronto Pearson Airport and there was a mad dash to find a hotel room at 10pm. We booked a room via Expedia and took a 10 minute, $40 taxi ride here. Location was good-Tim Hortons was across the parking lot along with a big shopping plaza. Check in was quick. Room was a decent size and was quite clean however it smelled of old cigarettes. It took a while to get hot water for our shower, bed was comfy but traffic noises was disruptive. We checked out at 5am and there was no hot water as the tank broke during the night. Overall, it's better than sleeping in the airport. Good budget hotel. Also, the front desk girl suggested we download the Uber app and take an uber instead. It cost us $23 back to the airport!

The hotel was clean enough. Free parking was a bonus.
Our room was at the end, and very close to a busy highway. The road noise was very loud and disruptive to sleep.
It also took a very long time for the water to heat enough for a shower. Probably used more water waiting for heat than the shower took.

I’ve been staying at this hotel once a week for more than a year. Always very clean rooms and great service. Front desk guys, Joel & Samuel are great and friendly. They always remember who I am when I pull in and the check in has begun before I walk through the front door. These people have great customer relations, as do all of the staff that work here, cleaning people included. Shout out to Patricia!

Room tip: I can’t say that because then I might lose my good room!

We must have got a still to be renovated room as ours was old, tired & smelt of stale smoke. The staff were very friendly but we had booked through booking.com & had messaged ahead requesting a put up bed for our son, we arrived to find apparently this is subject to availability (translated as they don't have any) so we had to pay extra for a different room, not a great start to our holiday. The location was great & breakfast is adequate, cereal, toast, juice & coffee. I'd suggest checking your room is a renovated one before you stay.

Hi there, appreciate your feedback. Thank you for choosing CBVI Toronto. Most of our inventory is newly renovated except for a few rooms. It depends which room type you booked on booking.com. Do apologize if things were not clearly presented. I will have a look into this.
