Our family of 6 stayed at the Residence Inn on the Thursday and Friday of Easter weekend. Everything was just what we were looking for. Check in was swift and they gladly accommodated our request for connecting rooms.

The room next to us decided to have a party with 8 men on the Thursday night and by 9:30pm we we done with it. Andre from the front desk called them once, which did nothing, and then came up a few minutes later and moved them elsewhere in the hotel. We appreciated the quick, no hassle management of our complaint.

The breakfast buffet was great and had enough selection to keep everyone happy. The pool is a lovely temperature and we all enjoyed swimming.

This hotel is a great choice for families traveling if you can get connecting rooms.

The location is good. The rooms are spacious & clean. The Marriott team seems happy to assist. I'm not sure why these properties try the breakfast scenario - less would be more & it makes the lobby smell like a Waffle House.

Stayed in Marriott Residence Inn for 9 days over Easter with family and it proved to be an excellent choice. Four people including a child so we initially looked at others places for either 2 seperate hotel rooms or a private apartment rental ( of which there seems to be lot in Toronto ) but we plumped for the Marriott "all Suite" set up in the end and we were definitely not disappointed. On the top floor ( 22nd ) with nice views of the city from the sitting room / kitchen area and also an impressive view of the CN tower from the main bedroom. The ladies commented favourably on the fact that the bathroom products were of the Paul Mitchell brand.

Staff includng front desk, parking Valet, housekeeping and breakfast area were some of the most courteous and helpful ever encountered in a hotel.

Hotel itself is in an excellent location in what is known as the "Entertainment District" and is within walking distance to all the major to-do's in Downtown i.e. CN Tower, Rogers Centre, Air Canada Centre, Eaton Centre, Union Station, Lawrence market, Yonge Street etc

Substantial breakfast on offer each morning o set you up for the day and twice weely there are also themed food evenings between 6pm and 7.30pm. These are complimentary and a really nice touch.

Decent sized indoor heated pool was a bonus and we made good use of it.

No major negatives to report on but if we were to be really picky, and as others have already highlighted, the Valet parking at $40 per day is expensive but in fairness it was well flagged in advance.

If we ever make it back to Toronto then the Marriott Residence Innwill be our first port of call

Room Tip: Higher floors more desirable

I have stayed in this hotel many times and enjoyed my stay. It's always friendly, very clean and tidy and has a good location in the entertainment district in the Downtown area of Toronto. I fully recommend it.

A wonderful place to stay. Great rooms that are spacious and clean. A staff that is helpful and friendly. It was easy to get around the city and there were plenty of choices for eating and shopping nearby. Even the free Internet worked well. The free breakfast was good quality. I would stay here again.
