“Great location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

We stayed here in March, 2012 for a weekend getaway and Raptors game. This location is right in the middle of all the downtown attractions for sports fans. We were very impressed with the suite, and the breakfast was superb. We would definitely stay here again!

My girlfriend, her sister and her partner and I all went on a last minute Christmas shopping trip. Toronto isn't my favourite place to be but our trip to the Residence Inn made shopping at the Eaton Centre that much more enjoyable. We arrived, we were happily upgraded and the room was Perfect! Cost was Famtastic and the fact that a Buffett breakfast was included was Great! Not continental Breakfast, Full Hot Buffett Breakfast. A Buffett Breakfast anywhere costs at least $9.99 per person and thats not including drinks. I would definetly return.
Thanks for everything,
Cory Thomas

Room Tip: The Two Bedroom Two Bathroom suites were all oouples could want!!!

was very pleased with this hotel!!
--great location to Downtown Entertainment District.
--2 blocks from St. Andrew's train station
--very safe
--large rooms
--great staff.

for example, I arrived near closing of breakfast (~10am). The attendant said their breakfast was closing, but clearly saw I had a long flight. After a few minutes, she handed me a hotel bag, filled with breakfast munchies!! Never in America or Asia would this happen!! I was impressed!!

Room Tip: stayed on the 9th floor. not a bad view.

We stayed at this Marriott for four days during Grey Cup week. We usually book the Marriott at the Rogers Centre, but it was not taking reservations. Are we ever glad things turned out that way. Although the front desk was VERY busy with arriving football revelers, check-in was a breeze. We had a spacious room on the 7th floor that accommodated all four of us very easily. Well equipped fitness centre with pool. Delicious complimentary breakfast off the lobby in the morning, with a wide array of hot and cold items. An under-ten-minute walk to Rogers Centre and the Convention Centre. You can walk to the ferry terminal for Billy Bishop in about 15-20 minutes, but the cab fare will run only about $10-12, tip included. This is our new favourite hotel in TO!

Room Tip: Elevators can be a bit slow in the mornings, so rooms on lower floors are probably the best.

If you need a hotel near the Rogers centre, this is it! Just a block and a half away, you get a suite with stove top, fridge, kitchen table and in our room, king sized bed and pull out couch. Add included hot buffet breakfast (including eggs, pancakes, oatmeal as well as fruit, yogurt, muffins etc) and you are all set. Lots of shopping within walking distance and we walked up to Queen street to get the best of it. Ate at pizza Rustica around the corner from the hotel which was nice but packed.

Only downside of hotel is $40 valet parking so look into alternate parking if you don't want to pay that.

If you are going to a big event at the Rogers centre like we were (Justin Bieber!!!) the added thrill is more than half the hotel guests were doing the same thing so it added to the excitement. I will definitely be back at this spot. Reasonable rates for the locale , though not super luxury. Just as advertised .

We chose the Residence Inn for a recent weekend get-away and were very pleased with our stay. The room was very updated and exceptionally clean, the staff were very nice and professional, and the location was a perfect starting point for our planned activities (some were within walking distance and others we drove to). Specifics regarding the room included a comfy bed, a very functional kitchen with a large refrigerator and microwave, a spotless bathroom, and a sitting area with a large flat screen t.v.. Also included was a complimentary breakfast that offered a good variety of items - in addition to eggs, meats, potatoes, coffees, juices, breads, etc., many choices were healthier options such as fruit, nuts, cooked oats, non dairy milks (soy, almond), non-sugary cereals, and yogurt. After doing much research and pricing for the area, we feel that this truly was an excellent value, especially regarding location. We would highly recommend! ***Be sure to check out the area in the lobby where the local businesses advertise. We found discounts for the comedy club and other local attractions.

I stayed here for 2 nights on a recent business trip. The location is a very convienient downtown Toronto location. The hotel was reasonably priced and the staff was quite nice. The room was plenty big with a full kitchen, workspace and seperate bedroom. Cleaning service was great. I would stay here again next time I am in Toronto and need to be downtown.
