Description: We’re inspired by Italian passion and generosity. We like tables crowded with friends and family. Style without attitude. And of course, excellent cuisine. In true Italian fashion, we rely on fresh ingredients. Our pasta is made fresh in-house daily, as is our mozzarella.

“Good service, tasty food, excellent value”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

Dinner for two outside on Canada day. Burrata, beet salad, well-suggested wine, polenta fries, and arribiata. Including tip, we did about CAD $100 total, good value for a 3-4 course meal with a class of wine.

Strong service, well spiced dishes, and lovely to sit outside.

“Brilliant!”
Reviewed June 30, 2014 via mobile

We stayed in Toronto for a few weeks and accidentally stopped in here to eat. We loved it! Wonderful food, great service.

We came back several times during our stay because each time the food was delicious and we felt this was one of the few places that deserved the tip.

Drinks were great, both cocktails as the jug of sangria. Bruschetta with goat cheese and avocado was great, pizzas were divine, salad was great!

Couldn't rave enough about this place, their menu, their staff!

Keep up the great work!!

“Naked”
Reviewed June 28, 2014 via mobile

And I mean the naked mozzarella you should order with the tomato chutney. Yum!!
The service is fantastic even more so if you are in Caesar's section. Been here 5 times now and a great spot for a dinner with couples or a large group.
There are family sized pasta servings you can order.
Working our way through the menu! Great spot.

“We went there on a fluke - and thank goodness for that fluke”
Reviewed June 20, 2014 via mobile

We had no intentions of visiting Scaddabush while in Toronto celebrating our wedding anniversary. In fact, it wasn't even on our radar.

However, a kink on our plans to travel to Niagara Falls for the day left us with a few hours to kill until our rental car was available. Scaddabush was near the rental car place and the hotel concierge said we should check it out. "There's not a bad choice on the menu."

Smart concierge.

With bad attitudes and impatient pants, we landed at a booth at Scaddabush. We were even hungry, but we had time on our hands.

Out of nowhere appears the world's most jovial waiter who recommends a stuffed meatball to share as the restaurant's famous fresh mozzarella. With a wink, he said he bet he could get the chef to serve us the mozzarella even thought it wasn't yet 5 p.m. (It's only served at night.) We agreed to his suggestions from the menu, and added salads as well.

Oh my heavens.

Hubby and I often play this game where we have to name our top give restaurants of all time. Ever since our Scaddabush experience, we've both been debating which restaurant will fall off our top five - because Scaddabush most certainly on both of our lists!

In fact, a few nights after hubby left Toronto and I stayed behind for business, I convinced my colleagues to go with me. I ordered the same thing I had a few days before. Yes, I did. (For the record, my colleagues had some different items - butternut squash ravioli, pesto pasta, etc. - and all were equally as delighted.)

Hubby didn't speak to me for a while after he found out I went back without him (just kidding).

Do yourself a favor if you're in Toronto. Forget Little Italy, and give Scaddabush a try.

“Doesn't get any Better”
Reviewed June 20, 2014

staying at the Eaton Chelsey, and this is the 2nd time we have been and recommended to other guests and friends, we had no reservation and were gladly looked after, food is great and well cooked, pasta is awesome, meatball is scary in size yet you will eat it all, is a little noisy when busy, hard to hear across the table!!! recommend any pasta dish.
