This tiny little place is fantastic. I had heard of it and last night we finally tried it.
Tucked along Ossington, nestled inbetween other trendy bars and shops, the location is lovely.
The atmosphere is dark and cozy, solid wood tables with candles add just the right amount of romance. The menu is limited and made for sharing so you know the ingredients are fresh and the dishes, inspired.
We tried four or five of their sharing plates - all ranging from $5 - $8 each.
I loved the steamed pork bu, squash poutine and their special buffalo deep-fried tofu. Amazing. My husband loved the "the Loosey" - their version of a burger done on crisped bread and loaded with sauce. Their house wings are super tasty, but so messy and large they are a bit hard to eat.
The service was friendly and we will be back for sure. So deliciously unique.
