It's always fun to walk around the U of T campus. The grounds and the buildings remind you more of European universities than the more modern American campuses. It's bustling with students but quiet at the same time. If you're there anyway, check out the beautiful, old St Basil's Catholic Church right next door (on Bay Street corner St Joseph Street). The historical Legislative building (often called the 'Pink Palace' for the rose-y hue of the stonework) is also close by, surrounded by a lot of greenery. The whole area is called Queen's Park.

Fairly standard University although there are quite a few historic buildings that make it well worth a visit. If you're in town for a while and looking to get out for a jog this a great place for it, particularly over towards Queen's Park.

Did you know that U of T is older than Canada? As Canada's largest university, it is a great spot for photographs and to view splendid architecture. There are free tours of the campus in the summer, as well as free art gallery at Hart House. Robart's library is a marvel. Summer weekends are often busy with wedding photos. Trinity Chapel is breathtaking.

The University has some beautiful buildings, but it is not a place I would recommend visiting while in Toronto. There very little to see or do. It is worth driving by to see it.
