Pleasant meeting place. Outdoor skating rink in the winter, farmers' market in the summer, Wednesday mornings. Grab a hot dog, relax and watch the world pass you by. Many special events throughout the year such as art shows, concerts, and of course, New Years Eve gala.

Nathan Phillips Square is located in Downtown Toronto, and there is a lot of things to see here, from the old and new City Hall to simply people watching. Great place to relax after a stressful day.

Pleasantly surprised to see the water fountains/pond here this round. Nice to sit and just relax! Always something going on here and this round the Make a Wish foundation had people rappelling down a side of a building for their Wish for Rope event! I love walking around this area each time I am in Toronto!

Being from Australia, I hadn't experienced ice-skating before. My partner and I decided on Nathan Phillip's Square to pop my ice-skating cherry - the beautifully romantic lights at night meant it was an easy choice!

Inexpensive cost to hire skates meant great value for money and was made easier by adjoining locker area to store valuables and put skates on. Was very busy due to it being a Saturday which just added to the fun energy and atmosphere, definitely making it a must-do during a Toronto Winter!

Is definitely the perfect place to take that special someone as was evident by amount of couples on ice and the marriage proposal which took place in the middle! To top it off I didn't even fall over - a great night I'll never forget!
