Owner description: The Distillery District is an internationally acclaimed village of brick-lined streets and dozens of vibrantly restored Victorian Industrial buildings. It’s one of Ontario’s hottest tourist attractions and home to live theatres, galleries, fashion, design and jewelry boutiques, unique cafes and award-winning restaurants. It’s all completely closed to traffic and just a few minutes walk from downtown Toronto.

This has some ni9ce boutiques and during the summer a lot of street type shows. Also there is theatre in the district as well as bars and dining . Well worth a visit.

A great way to spend a few hours. Great restaurants (not cheap, but high quality), unique shops, and beautiful galleries. There's always something interesting going on. A bit out of the way but worth it - as Torontonians we find a reason to spend an afternoon/evening in the Distillery several times a year. A dinner at Pure Spirits followed by a play at Soulpepper makes for a great evening.

Excellent theatres, restuarants, craft and boutique stores. In the summer there are a variety of outdoor concerts and exhibits. Parking can be a problem.
