Owner description: The Distillery District is an internationally acclaimed village of brick-lined streets and dozens of vibrantly restored Victorian Industrial buildings. It’s one of Ontario’s hottest tourist attractions and home to live theatres, galleries, fashion, design and jewelry boutiques, unique cafes and award-winning restaurants. It’s all completely closed to traffic and just a few minutes walk from downtown Toronto.

“A nice afternoon”
Reviewed March 24, 2014 via mobile

We spent a lovely (although cold) afternoon here. We had sake, bought chocolate, ate Mexican food, and stopped for tea and a cookie. We also wandered into a couple interesting shops and galleries. All in all, a nice relaxing afternoon.

“Great place”
Reviewed March 21, 2014

Lot of bars, cafes, restaurants, bakerys and art gallerys at one place, and what a beautiful place. Got the best beer in whole Toronto (Mill Street)

“Fun afternoon stroll”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

We loved the proximity of all of the shops and restaurants all near each other and the beautiful historic history of the place. Everyone we encountered in the district was friendly and helpful. We tried some excellent beer, sake, and specialty drinks at different establishments all afternoon. I will be back the next time I visit Toronto.

“tour of the district”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

Great tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and was quite animated when he spoke about the stories of the area. Great to try the chocolate samples and the beer samples. Enjoyed the tour and really didn't know that the district existed until our tour. Would go back again.

“Better in the summer.”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

Good, unique shopping. Great chocolate store. We went in the winter, which obviously is not the best time to wonder around this type of place. We're sure summertime is best suited for this district.
