Owner description: The Distillery District is an internationally acclaimed village of brick-lined streets and dozens of vibrantly restored Victorian Industrial buildings. It’s one of Ontario’s hottest tourist attractions and home to live theatres, galleries, fashion, design and jewelry boutiques, unique cafes and award-winning restaurants. It’s all completely closed to traffic and just a few minutes walk from downtown Toronto.

“Especially at Christmas, stunning!”
Reviewed March 5, 2012

A fun place to walk around day time or night, great restaurants, and specially at Christmas there is an amazing Christmas market with tons of little vendors, beer gardens, mulled wine stands, and carolling.

“Back in Time”
Reviewed March 2, 2012

A great place to go if your from Toronto or visiting.
A good selection of restaurants and shops. A real old world feel or at least how Toronto used to be with the coblestone walk ways and old buildings restored. A nice time to go is in the winter around Christmas for the Winter Festival, there are a lot of vendors selling food and seasonal type items like home made scarfs and such. There are some rides for the kids, and seating around the district with fire pits where you can sit and rest and enjoy a hot coco or hot cider.
