Huge Aquarium, with a lot of attractions but, unfortunately, didn't surprise me. In my opinion, the only amazing ambient was a tunnel made with glass that makes u feel "inside" water.

But the price didn't worth it.

My first thought was that it's SOOO expensive. Watch out, because there is even 13% tax on their prices (most attractions include the tax), so the prices are even higher than posted. But it's extremely well done, and you get a good concept of the cost that must be involved to maintain such a presentation. Great Canadian and Ontario exhibits, and amazing saltwater presentations. Great for kids, but those over 6 or 7 will get the most out of it. Frankly, as an adult, I found that a couple of hours is sufficient. Try not to go at 10:00 a.m. as it's jammed with screaming school children, but they are entitled to enjoy it also!

Really nice presentation of a variety of underwater habitat. Glad we got there at opening because by noon - the line up was ridiculous! Love the spotted rays. Also wonderful to see the tiny pods containing the new life - the eggs in the translucent sacks and the escaped as well - which got fished out (pun intended) while we watched!

Finally visited the new Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto. It was simply stupendous. In the area with the moving sidewalk it actually felt as if you were moving through the ocean since the aquarium was on both sides and overhead. The way the enclosure was engineered at times it felt as if the sharks, stingrays, etc. were coming directly at you. The swordfish sharks, if that's the correct name actually seemed unreal. One was just resting on what was the bottom of the enclosure for him but was actually overhead for us. Wow!!

The dragonfish, fish that look like quills. I saw species that I had never seen before. The eels, major ugh! The stingrays were absolutely beautiful! I know! How can one describe a stingray as being beautiful but believe me they were and one actually smiled at me!

The jelly fish were lovely and seemed like a living wall of living creatures.

I will have to pay them a second visit soon.
