Went here for dinner on my own. Very friendly service. Ambience was great - even if dining solo. Food was really good & well priced. Definitely worth a visit.

“Unique, fun and delicious! ”
Reviewed April 27, 2014 via mobile

I went to this place one night when nearby at ryerson because of the reviews. It was such a pleasant surprise!!! Staff is friendly and easy going. Not pretentious but amazing food! It's really unique inside and out. The cocktails are out of this world! Try the mojito! We ordered the green curry, the squash fritters and some kind of fish custard. They were all good, but the green curry was unreal, best curry I've ever had! Would go back in a second!

“Most amazing Thai food I've had!”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

Went by the recommendations on Trip Advisor and was more than impressed. Big line up to get in, but the line up went down quickly, and I was on my own so sat at the bar and was looked after the superb bartenders. Very entertaining watching them make their Thai style Cocktails! Met two of the owners - Jason and Sung (?) so friendly and welcoming. It was so good that I went back for lunch the next day just to try out more dishes! Very knowledgeable staff on their menu.

“Unpretentious and delicious”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

We tried Sabai Sabai based on the Trip Advisor reviews, and even though we were expecting a great night out we were surprised just how fantastic it really was. If you didn't know the restaurant was so good you might be tempted to just walk on past it given it's location and the outside facing. But DO NOT pass this opportunity up.

The restaurant is small and it fills up in the blink of an eye. We arrived at 5:30 and were probably the first people sitting at a table. Within 20 minutes the entire restaurant was full and they were starting to turn people away at the door. We had girly fizzy drinks (raspberry fizz), which were delicious, and the men in our party had a Thai beer in some odd table-top keg. We had more taps plates than we probably should have ordered. Some we tried twice because they were so amazing (a new addition to the menu, lap app pao or something like that, the eggplant stir fry, the wings) and left absolutely stuffed and delighted. Our server was prompt and extremely helpful.

The crowd in the restaurant was pretty young: late 20's - late 30's. Thought the music would be too loud but when the restaurant was full it just had a great vibe. Before we left we had already planned two more trips back with different groups of friends. Given that we only go to a restaurant twice when it's fabulous - I mean, there are more than 6000 to try in Toronto - it really did make it to the top of our "to go" list.
