Description: Patria "The Homeland " Patria is a restaurant born out the idea of the lifestyle and soul of the Spanish culture. A country rich in tradition of dedication to artisanal cuisine and wines displayed in the Boquerias and Tapas bars throughout each region. The menu will be an authentic representation of the rustic styles, sourced from the highest quality of available products from Spain and Ontario. The wines have been selected to compliment the vast diversity in cuisine, and promote the finest producers the country has to offer.

Our evening was not a typical dining experience as 18 of us were treated to a wine pairing with our host, the owner of Pares Balta wineries. The jamon appetizer was definitely the star of the first set of selections. It had so much flavour I could have just sat and ate it all night. The octopus was the highlight of the second set of courses, but the wood fired fish was a close second. The lamb was perfectly prepared with this wonderful sauce that made it the winner of the third course combination. There was not a dish that the restaurant prepared that was not a winner, and the churros part of the deserts was the best I have had outside of Spain. Needless to say, all the wines were excellent, and I ordered a few dozen to follow. Will definitely return to this restaurant, it is a winner!

Four of us thoroughly enjoyed dinner last night at Patria. The room is chic. The music loud. The servers are young. And the food is very good. Dates with bacon. Lamb chop. Paella. All wonderful. The shrimp dish was a disappointment - my shrimp was 'fishy'. No one cared that I did not eat it....... The only other complaint was that the staff cleared the table of dishes the second the last tidbit was removed from the plate. This was quite disruptive - even annoying. But when we discussed our concern with our excellent waiter, he saw to it that we were asked if the plates could be cleared BEFORE the bus staff reached across our conversation and grabbed the empties....fun night. Good food. Delishious sangria. $150 a couple with one drink each.

Great dinner experience, outstanding food and service. Well done, Mr. Khabouth.
There are a lot of tapas to choose from and our waiter was very helpful.
Definitely not your typical King West restaurant - Patria is much more than that.

While Patria has a great location it can be a bit difficult to find. Look for the wrought iron gates and walk to the back of this entrance.
The ambience and decor get top marks! Whoever the designers are they are brilliantly talented! Perhaps the prettiest and most unique space in Toronto .
We bi-passed the cocktails for their superb wine list. Our server suggested we try the tasting menus priced at $40, $50 and $60 and we advised him of certain food intolerances- no problem. We chose the middle road at $50 but didn't quite make it, coming in at around $45. the $40 option is perfect for 4 people.
One tasty item after another came to our table, delivered by beautiful Barcelonians who really know their ingredients. Most memorable was the bacon-wrapped dates and the seafood paella.
We found the other diners to be of an older demographic than most King Street establishments And a very ecclectic-looking bunch indeed, making for great people watching!
This is a very special place for a night out, but we did feel slightly rushed and it was noisy.

i came here with coworkers, it was such a pleasant surprise! First of all the staff is amazing, very knowledgeable regarding wines and explaining the food. We had a sampler dinner which was amazing and it consisted of like 7 different tapas dishes, i thought it would be too little but it was actually a lot of food and very well prepared. They even have spanish beer on the menu!
Atmosphere is nice and the decor is really cool
