Great spot to take a break for a business or lunch with friends. The pantry room is a nice spot to have a little more privacy with a group.

I've been to this restaurant four or five times now, and have not been disappointed. The menu is limited, but the food is fresh, and very well prepared. They take care of allergies.

Wait staff is somewhat informal, but efficient. They seem to all enjoy working there. There is a nice vibe to the place and it just seems to all work somehow. I recommend it

This new establishment opned three months ago but it is already very popular. The food is great, well prepared, tasty, and fresh, but the portions are on the smallish side. Prices are reasonable for the quality served. Good selection of wines, but not overwhelming. The menu is somewaht restricted, but with enough selection for most palates.

My husband made reservations at the "Chef's Table" for my birthday (knowing that I love cooking and would really enjoy watching all of the craziness that goes on in the kitchen). Within the first 5 minutes of our arrival -- 4 of the staff (hostess, head of the restaurant front, server and executive chef (Carl)) -- dropped by to wish me a "Happy Birthday". The vibe was extremely congenial and fun and the customer service was really great. You can really tell that all of the staff are just really happy to be there and enjoy interacting with the customers. Okay -- now to the food. When you sit at the Chef's Table -- you have the option of ordering off of the menu or getting the head chef (Carl) to design a tasting menu for you (includes items currently on the menu and other things he specializes in/could be trying out). We opted for the latter and it was probably one of the best dinners of my life!! Started with PEI oysters and 3 beautiful minuets/sauces to accompany!! Next was a lobster tempura seafood cocktail -- followed by a
charcuterie plate filled with their house cured meats and sausages -- so yummy!! Next was as delicious salad -- followed by a fish course and then (probably one of the best steaks I've had ever!!) a filet of beef with truffled mashed potatoes, blanched radishes, mushrooms and au jus. Dessert was amazing -- such a fantastic evening. Visitors to Toronto -- go, go, go!!

Reservation at 5 pm. Originally seated at last table before the stairs to second level, we would have been squeezed tight so we requested a table on the upper level where it was empty. Choose a table for four in the centre, perfect locale. Shared four kinds of appetizers, all delicious. I brought my own gluten free crackers. We had the burger platters and grilled fish entrees. Ordered extra side of kale and substitutions were happily accommodated. Food is very tasty and service excellent. Will definitely return.
