after a long drive east to the Big Smoke,we found free parking on College(it was Sunday) and were greeted with a big smiles by owners Luis and Michelle. the Mojito was just like ones we have had in Cuba! and oh my the warmed olives were a lovely beginning to a wonderful meal. the Lamb and barley salad and grilled romaine was devine. hubs had the scallops on pureed cauliflower with proscutto - also very well prepared. dessert, we always have dessert- apple begniets with homemade butterscotch sauce and a tad of icecream! a nice treat to share . the music was perfect, not too loud, and was bouncy. didn't need the sports tv coverage but hey cant have everything. would definitely visit again when we come to the city. a hidden gem.

If you are in this area, definitely stop by for either food or drinks because this place is excellent! We made reservations for a group of 10-12 for a special birthday we celebrated this Canada Day long weekend; it was a Friday night as well.

There are some good vibes here with live music, the live cooking table/kitchen so close to where we were sitting, it was a work of art to watch our meals being prepped! And the smells, so enticing! We spent 3-4 hours there, ordering apps, lots of drinks, their drink menu is huge BTW, and had dinner as well.

Apps: warm house-marinated olives & chorizo with pita, edamame & chili oil - ALL 5/5
Dinner: fried chicken, fish and chips, lamb, habits burger, flat iron (steak) - Really good pricing, and large portions! 5/5
Drinks (cocktails): Thyme-Vodka Lemonade, Raspberry Paloma, Mai Tai - 5/5 (STRONG)
Drinks (other):Delirium Tremens Ale, Innis & Gunn Original, Innis & Gunn Rum Finish, Don Julio, and any whiskey they had lining the walls! 5/5

Very clean and spacious, not crowded with excellent service. Unique decor and very attractive! Gourmet pub food for sure! Will visit again soon!

We went in just for drinks but stayed for oysters too (good deal that night). The food menu looks good and the drinks menu looks even better with so much to choose from. The owner came to say hi - he's very friendly. Recommended the sangria to us and he was right - it was excellent! Next time we'll try the nachos and the sweetbreads.

Lovely menu. Comfortable atmosphere. Good service. Some dishes are outstanding. More a restaurant than a pub.

This place is right in the sweet spot between neighbourhood "joint" and fine dining. Not just in price, but also in the casual friendliness, the hardy food, and the local flavour. Feels a but sports-bar in the front and lounge in the back. Open kitchen. Not a quiet place, but not overly loud on a Saturday night before 9 PM.
