Great vibe and energy in here. I was going in just for a drink and ended up staying for dinner. The space is very well done. You can tell they put a lot of money into this. I was expecting it to be pricier than it was so the value is very good as well. The food is good but the space makes the place worth trying!

Location, decor, food, service, and to top it off a dj who spins great music = a spot you should definitely check out!

The Appetizers (we ordered both the Kale/Apple and Mixed greens) where tasty and fresh. As of the Mains, the Gnocchi was nice but not amazing. However, the Tagliatelle was absolutely divine. Finally, desert was hit (MILLEFOGLIE) and miss (Lemon Sorbet).

The place itself has a very very cool style, as it seems to have been an actual church before and was converted. We were there on a Friday night so they had a live DJ. The music seemed a bit too loud for a restaurant and would have been more comfortable if volume was set a bit lower. Otherwise, I'd definitely go back to this really unique restaurant.

Great atmosphere and excellent food. My boyfriend had the gnocchi and loved it which is rare for an Italian! True authentic Italian food, great service and staff. Just make sure you tell them if you are staying after dinner for drinks as they also have late reservations. Great food and price, you must try this place.

We were recommended this restaurant by a foodie brother-in-law, who happens to be from the same town in Sicily as the owner. He had eaten there the week before. So while in Toronto for the baseball game and some shopping we popped into the Church for dinner on Friday night. What a surprise! Although not overly busy, the decor and ambience has a contemporary charm, with a very romantic feel. The owner greeted us, took us to our table, talked about the menu and where else in Toronto, does an owner attend to your needs? He recommended some beautiful Italian fare, we enjoyed the lamb and meatball appetizers (outstanding) the polenta fries (must try!) and I enjoyed the Porchetta (special) and my wife had a menu item, the tuna/avocado salad which were both very, very good. What a gem, this place is, and I would recommend it highly, if you want great Italian (Sicilian), fabulous service (our waitress was always around and very helpful and courteous and congenial), in a romantic setting- this is the place. 4 appetizers, 2 glasses of wine, and two mains- $100. Great value as well. Highly recommended!!!
