There is a good crowd, even on a Monday morning. most of the patrons are Chinese, attest to the authenticity of the food. very reasonable price, in fact cheap when one compares these Chinese dishes as equivalent to the Spanish Tapas. Dim Sum , in Cantonese dialect, means 'touch heart', or something that touches your heart, or hearts delight.

The dishes are freshly made, not warmed over as are done in some restaurant. the baked goods are not reheated neither. There are also some innovative dishes, that we had not seen in other restaurants. Dim sum dishes are always newly invented by clever chefs.

This restaurant is tastefully decorated, service is impecable, white gloves treatment indeed.

When we find ourselves in the north / east end of Toronto (Finch and Leslie) and hungry we inevitably head for The Paradise which is the sister restaurant to The Dynasty Restaurant in Yorkville. The food, while not quite as refined as at The Dynasty is always freshly made with fresh ingredients and with a delicate hand. Their Dim Sum is always some of the best that we can find in Toronto but their Lobster with E Fu (sp?) noodles and ginger sauce ranks with some of the best that we have had anywhere. Their Chinese Broccoli or Snow Pea Leaves are always so fresh that it is difficult to imagine that they aren't grown in the kitchen. The owner is often on site and he is a gentleman who will often greet you when you come in.

I took one of my associates who was born in China there for lunch and she agreed that it was one of the best in Toronto and "almost as good" as in Hong Kong!

Unusual for a Chinese restaurant in Toronto they even take recommendations!
