I am not a fan of all you can eat sushi places as the norm seems to be too little fish, with too much rice, prepared hours ahead of the time it ends up in front of me. California Roll is a pleasant exception as the sushi is prepared to order. It is more like being able to specify exactly what you want in your sushi boat at a regular sushi place, than trying to make the best of see through salmon nigiri and rubbery makis.
The menu is extensive with a good selection of hot and cold foods. The agadashi tofu was served hot with just the right degree of crispiness and the galbi was char grilled and notably tender. For sushi the rainbow maki and the spider maki were especially good. Low sodium soya is available and the wasabi was killer hot! Some of the more exotic sushi such as ikura and uni are not available, and Mauro, and hamachi are offered at a reasonable price but are not included in the all you can eat offering.
The decor is modern minimalist but very comfortable. The tables are a decent size so you can eat without having to shuffle plates around. The service is friendly and efficient but not overly attentive. There were no major issues but service could have been better as we had to ask for wasabi every time a new plate came out from the sushi bar.
At $20 per adult the price is very reasonable for the quality. I would go back again without hesitation.
