Located in basement, decor unimpressive & simple.upon entering you see the fish tanks. There are lots of tables and tight. If you arrive when it is busy you will see the dimsum carts, if you want something just point, if you do not know what the item is just ask. We love the sticky rice in lotus leaves, lots of meat inside, also the pork shiumi. Quality of food is very good. Provided pot of tea upon arrival. If you do not want dim sum they have a menu. Prices are very reasonable. This place is usually full during peak times such as lunch, but you will get a table quickly.

This is my favourite restaurant in downtown Toronto where I work. It is a small restaurant in a basement (Dundas between Elizabeth Street and Bay Street). I always come here all the time with my co-workers as it is one the places in downtown that will give you good food and good value for your money. Selection of dim sum is huge and the food is really delicious. Yes most of the girls pushing the carts does not speak English but you can see what is in the cart. Yes to line up if you come after 12:15 but once you are in you will be finished in less than an hour. They take reservations. Average lunch $9 to $12.

This is a small basement restaurant located steps away from Bay Street and the Toronto Coach Terminal. It isn't very fancy and could use a bit of redecorating, but the food is great value. Dim Sum is served from carts weekdays at lunch time and choices range from $2.20 for small to $3.50 for large items, and all Dim Sum items are quite large. The only drawbacks are that cart services lends itself to some dishes not being hot when they get to your table (but that's normal for this type of service) and some of the girls do not speak English very well, so you may have trouble getting an explanation of what is in a particular dish. On the weekends Dim Sum is served by order. The daily specials are ample and delicious. If you are going for lunch, get there early as there can be line-ups after noon on Thursday and Friday. Bring a few friends as this is the best way to sample many of the items.
