We went on a whim and couldn't be happier we did. The show was excellent from beginning to end. The topics were relevant, creative, and yet easy to understand and laugh about. If you're on the fence, just go. We saw the "If I could #throwback time" show and we laughed the whole time. My jaw was tired by the time we were done. A little extra improv section was at the end of the show, but a 2nd intermission was offered and several people chose to leave, but we stayed and laughed a little more. I would recommend this to anyone (old enough) visiting Toronto.

Great show, very funny! However, horrible horrible staff (few in particular) that feels it necessary to harass their customers over policies that are not clearly outlined anywhere in their facility (put up signs as there were none). The staff made assumptions that I verbally abused their member which is completely false and unprecedented...anything to get your customers out the door right? Especially when a staff member makes it their mission to ruin your night. The security guards are time wasters, and pathetic. A miniscule situation that could have been handled differently had their female waitress approached us without aggression and did not speak to us in such a condecending tone. This company needs to educate their staff on how to properly speak to customers. They did not give us a chance to correct the misunderstanding, but rather asks you to leave on the first "offense".Absolutely disgusted at how we were treated here. Don't come to this location if you want to have their staff completely ruin your experience of the show.

Hi Patricia,

We're truly sorry to hear about your experience.

Unfortunately, when patrons in our theatre take any actions that either harass or threaten the safety of our staff or ensemble, we take action swiftly.

We do our absolute best to communicate policies about phone usage, photography, and talking during the show during our introduction, our pre-show video, communications to your group's convener, and even in our program.

It's only after an audience member breaches our policies in multiple ways that we are required to take action to warn and, if needed, remove a patron from our theatre.

Our staff and ensemble take pride in the experience we provide and are sorry to hear yours didn't match that of our other visitors.

We appreciate your feedback and only use it to grow.

All the best!

We took in Second City’s Unconventional Holiday Revue on January 1st and can't imagine a better way to start 2020. The show was smart, funny, touching, funny, unpredictable and did I mention funny. The majority of the material was made up of rehearsed sketches, some of which had interjections of audience suggestions, and were so well done that you were easily able to forget about your hangover from partying the night before.
There were two moments that allowed you to truly appreciate how amazing, talented and patient these performers are. The first was a sketch where one of the actresses picked a female volunteer from the audience to whom she was going to make a big reveal to about her life. The actress peppered the audience member with some questions and then launched into it. We were treated to a funny, honest and touching performance by both people that couldn't help but bring a tear to your eye. The second sketch was based on Dickens "A Christmas Carol" and for it the performers had the unfortunate happenstance to pick a drunk, melodramatic, ham of a person who couldn't do more to derail the work of the performers on stage. They did there best to work around him and I admire their patience but he was so disruptive there was just no saving the piece. Thankfully this wasn't the last of the evening and they rallied and gave us some great laughs to finish out the night.
Kudos to all the performers and thank you for starting our 2020 in such fine fashion.

Happy 2020! We're so happy to hear we could help kick off your new year the right way! Thanks for your kind words and detailed review.

At times, it is hard to work with some of our audience members but we appreciate your patience and understanding as our cast worked through it!

See you again soon!

I loved it. The audience was often in stitches! I laughed so hard at some points that I had tears. We got front row seats because they didn't cost much more than general admission seats. The bonus was that we were seated before all the rest. Sweet! There's a special line inside for front row people.

I'm not going to spoil the show by giving you any details, but their If I Could #ThrowBackTime show is topical, smart, thoughtful, and hilarious!

You can order drinks and food during the show and everything is reasonably priced.

In their diversity, these talented guys work together to make a cohesive story as funny as it could be.

I'm putting them on my permanent list of things to do while in the six.
