We happened upon this cute little place while out for a fall walk last weekend! We went in and had a wonderful craft beer and the most fabulous carrot, saffron and orange soup!!! The service was good and the Irish flavour apparent....along with the fabulous food and presentation, what more is there to a fabulous Irish pub!!! We'll definitely return.....

Pubs in Toronto are a dime a dozen. We stumbled on this gem quite by accident (we were actually heading across the street to Henry VIII) and were pleasantly surprised by the food and the great beer selection. Scanning the menu outside, we were attracted to the Steak Frites with Truffle Aioli Fries but were disappointed to find that it was on the lunch menu and we were too late to order. However, when we inquired about the item, they were kind enough to oblige anyway and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

The pub is well appointed, the decor rich and authentic, but the atmosphere was a bit lack-luster - this could have been due to the time of day (6:00 pm-ish). Overall, it's a little pricey but probably worth it. As I said, a pub needs something unique to stand above the competition. This one wins on it's menu and wide selection of craft beer.

This place is pretty new, but I have had occasion to go there 4 times in the last month (mainly coincidence, it is in my neighbourhood). A huge craft beer selection, the sample trays are a real hit, 4 small glasses (2 oz?) on a tray, either selected one by one, or random, or as a theme (lagers, or bitters, blondes or malts, for example).

The staff is friendly and very good at explaining the beer. I have been served by 4 different people, and they have all been good. I had some food there last week, dinner with a group of 8. The place was busy and humming, and the food was mostly good, from a limited but interesting menu.

Come for the wide range of beer for sure, have some food if you need to ...
