This is my kind of restaurant. Small, quaint, nice atmosphere, good service and fantastic food. I also happen to love all things fish and seafood so the menu was great. It is 100 times better than the sister restaurant called Rushton, across the street. You have to get in the sharing groove and it can add up if you order a bunch of small dishes but it is well worth it and I will definitely be going back. There are too few restaurants like this in Toronto so I am thrilled they have filled the niche.

Spent a lovely summer evening out with eight friends at Catch. The staff were incredibly attentive and very knowledgable about the wine list and menu items. The menu had a great selection and everyone found something they loved! The portions were quite generous and the choices were unique and deliciously prepared. Would definitely come back so I can try other menu items!

Come for the food stay for the service ... Friendly, happy, great everything. We loved this place.

Try the full fish but there is nothing bad on the menu.

Fresh fish and seafood with innovative preparations. Plates range from small (so you can try many) to "XL" -- a whole 6 lb PEI halibut for sharing with a group -- and the menu will vary depending on what is available. Our group of 3 had oysters, duck prosciutto, halibut croquettes, smoked sturgeon, grilled octopus, grilled tuna toro, scallop ceviche, foie gras torchon, halibut (not the 6 lb one!). There was not a single item that failed to please. The octopus was tender, the halibut moist and delicate, the scallops like "scallop butter". The smoking and preserving is done in-house, and the non-seafood items were just as good. This was a meal to remember.

The dining area is small but attractive, with an open kitchen, and there is a patio on the Rushton Avenue side as well.

Reservations recommended.

This is trully a neighbourhood find, and worth checking out. Very inventive menu, based on fish/seafood. Really enjoyed it, the food and ambience.
