“Great for small kids”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2012

Visited April 2012.

This place is very clean and very well maintained. Many rides are great for small children (2-12 in my opinion), unlike other parks that are made for teens. Prices are reasonable and will all inclusive ride pass. We enjoyed going on a small train ride, a must for everyone as it takes you around the whole park. Also went for bumper carts, Ferris Wheel which rotates between two levels of the mall, balloon rides, merry-go-round. There are some places to eat like Subway and DottingDots ice-cream, Tim Horton's.

Only negative part in my opinion is that there are not enough places to sit down and rest with your family, but that's not a big deal. Overall, we had a great experience there. Lot's to do.

“Family Day of Fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2012

We went to the fantasy fair on Saturday the 14th of April. We were quite impressed with the number of attractions there were. It took us about 3 hours to get through everything with a 4 and 6 year old. Everything from a train ride around the attraction to the mini rollercoaster, bumper cars, 3 story climbing gym, airplane ride, balloon ride, carousel and electric boats. On the day that we went it was not too busy and the waits were reasonable, not even 5 min for a ride. The kids had a wonderful time and we will be going back.

“Funpark within a mall!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2012

Fantasy fair is an indoor amusement park located within the Woodbine Shopping Centre Mall in greater Toronto. There are nine full-size rides, including a 50-ft, Ferris wheel, bumper cars, 32-ft flying hot air balloon ride, and a vintage carousel, among others. A train runs through the park and you occasionally have to wait while it crosses your path! There is a large 3-story children's play village with enormous tube slides in the center of the park. There are midway games, an arcade, and even a hurricane simulator. While there are rides suitable for all ages, this does not compare to a large theme park such as Canada's Wonderland, and would not necessarily be the park of choice for a bunch of teenagers. This is a more manageable size park which is especially inviting during cold weather season. When we went, there were additional rides outside, available at an additional cost. The cost was reasonable, and we found discount tickets at our hotel. The park is surrounded by faux building fronts which house small shops or concession areas. Being part of the mall means that you also have access to department stores and restaurants. It was a fun place to visit. However, we chose to go during March break, and that made things more than a little crazy, with infinite numbers of screaming kids and hundreds of strollers. The park also did not have quite enough ride attendants, as only half of the Ferris wheel was being loaded (it requires two entries). And with that many visitors, the waits were long. However, we would visit again, but perhaps choose a less busy time. Fantasy Fair does call itself Ontario's largest indoor amusement park and we did have a good time.
