Description: In the heart of the historic St. Lawrence Market, G For Gelato and Pizza Bar serves the finest gelato in Toronto, made with recipes passed down in the Polsinelli family for years. From classic roasted pistachio to creative flavor pairings like coconut basil, blueberry lavender, and London Fog (vanilla and Earl Grey tea), we make our gelato using the freshest ingredients and source many seasonal fruits and veggies from local farmers markets. In our cozy, rustic space, we also serve hand-tossed thin crust pizzas as well as foccacia paninis, frittatas, pastas, and fresh salads. Start your morning with our hand-crafted coffee and espresso drinks paired with a sweet pastry, or sit down and enjoy a leisurely lunch with our house favorite funghi pizza, a white pizza topped with mixed mushrooms, fresh arugula, and a drizzle of truffle oil. Need to bring a taste of Italy to your next celebration or corporate luncheon? We also cater and deliver at your convenience. For a sweet break in your day, sit and stay with us at G For Gelato and Pizza Bar for traditional Italian dishes, quiet conversations, and the best gelato in Toronto. We hope to see you soon!

My husband and I ate supper here tonight. We shared a 12 in pizza, (the funghi which had mushrooms, fontina cheese, arugula and truffle oil. We shared a Caesar salad which they were nice enough to give to me with the dressing and to my husband with the dressing on the side. And finally I couldn't resist the display of gorgeous gelato so I had a small bowl of the coconut . Everything was delicious. The restaurant is quite cute with one wall of exposed red brick. There was a mix of mothers with children, students etc. I would say the restaurant seats about thirty indoors some at tables and some at a counter around the outside which faces out the windows. There are also a few tables outside with parasols which would be nice if spring ever comes to Canada this year.

Great place for thin crust pizzas. There is a $10 special for pizza each day. All of their pizza's are amazing but the chicken pizza and the one with the italian sausage and salmi are my favs. Gelato is amazing. So many types of flavours. always fresh and made on site. My fav is the classic hazelnut, but the ferro roche is also great. A few seats inside and some benches outside to each ice cream or have coffee, but you can easily take you ice cream across the street and eat in St. James park. Tip- in the summers check the St. James park concert schedule, ice cream and music in the park makes for a great night ;)

If you go to Toronto and eat here, you won't eat anywere else after. The gelato is just awesome. Same with the pizza and espresso. Best place in Toronto!
