I don't tend to expect much of restaurants located in hotels. In my experience they are usually overpriced, and provide pretty mediocre food. This would hold especially true for restaurants located in the outskirts of Toronto, in hotels near the airport. Not so for Olio at the Sheraton on Dixon Road! What a pleasant surprise. The room is very pretty. Service was highly attentive. The menu covers a wide range of choices, from great steaks, to pastas, to a range of appetizers. I had the red pepper and tomato soup, and the mussels. Both were really, really yummy. Others in our party enjoyed a steak, and the chicken, and all of us really enjoyed our meals. Price-wise our meal, with a fine bottle of wine, was very reasonable!
