“Beautiful old church in historic section of downtown Toronto”
Reviewed June 13, 2014

We attended a wedding in the wonderful sanctuary of this church. Huge, picturesque, large columns, tiled floors yest warm and calming. I felt very welcomed and comfortable and relaxed as we waited for the bride to arrive and the ceremony to start. Some churches can be cold and not too approachable but you could wonder at will and explore without feeling you were intruding. It felt like a people's church if that makes any sense.

The exterior was not pristine and gardens/lawn were asking for water and help. There were many people not with the wedding out front of the church and in fact there are tables at the end of the front walk where people were playing chess. This is an everyday gathering place for the locals. Loved it.

“The Music at the Met”
Reviewed April 24, 2012

The musical experience the choir offers week after week is outstanding! Though the Met choir is such a standout, there are so many more and varied musical offerings at the Met contributing to its unique ablity to celebrate life and worhsip through beautiful music. Sermons outstanding, the total production of some Sunday services are worthy of charging for!

“Toronto Metropolitan United Church Is Spectacular. A wonderful piece of History !!!”
Reviewed February 21, 2012

If you are ever in Toronto, This amazing piece of Toronto History is a must See !
Sunday morning service is something to behold. The Minister's are friendly, and have a great sense of humor. Ive never felt so much at home whenever I've attended this architectural splendour.
The hospitality Ive witnessed throughout my visits, have been top notch !!
I have to say the Hospitality Chair person should be rewarded for achieving the best design for their events.
I will always let everyone know, the BEST place to visit in Toronto, is Toronto's Metropolitan United Church.!!!!!!!!!!!
