This Tony Roma's location is now out of business. The space formerly occupied by the restaurant has been completely vacated. The Tony Roma's franchise continues to operate many other locations in Canada, although none in Toronto.

We stayed near the airport years day and decided to go for a nice dinner to start our vacation. The empty parking lot should have been an indication of how good this place is (Canyon Creek Chophouse parking was packed). The place was empty, and the manager? greeted us. He did not seem very interested at all except for complaining to us how busy it was on New Years eve. He was also dressed very poorly. We were seated and had to wait for ages for the waitress to show up. We orered the baby back ribs which are usually fantastic at other Tony Roma's, and when they showed up, they were cold and had no flavour whatsoever. We also had to ask for the coleslaw which was supposed to be included in the meal.
All in all a very poor way to start the vacation.

My wife and I, along with our baby ate at Tony Roma's a few days ago and we were neither upset or blown away. To start we were the only one in the place (at 4:30pm). The place is very dark and full of very dark colored booths, the ripped cushions are a nice touch. The waiter / host / chef was dressed in old jeans and a t-shirt, not a great first impression. We ordered the onion loaf (blooming onion), don't. Very greasy and flavorless. Then we both got the medallion and rib combo. The meet was good, but the portion size was like for a child. The veggies were just plain broccoli. The loaded mashed potatoes were good but cold. Was told by the waitress (now that they were working) that she can get them heated up. No thanks. But, a few minutes later the waiter / host / chef came out with 2 new hot portions and an apology. Nice work. Overall we would not go back. For similar money I rather go to the Keg. However, if you like airplanes get a seat next to the windows, as final approach into Pearson is a few hundred meters away and the planes come in pretty close.

When you walk into the restaurant and see that there are very few people dining at 6:30 p.m., you assume that it must have a busier lunch trade. But once you see the menu and the prices, you realize that the place just isn't a great value. The ribs are okay...just okay. Not fantastic by any means. There are few gluten-free choices -- if you happen to get a waitress who understands what gluten-free is. (We've been to this restaurant a few times to meet people, but only because it's in a convenient location, not because it's particularly good. The service is inconsistent at best.) We rarely leave for less than $100 per couple, which is more than we want to pay for a mediocre meal in a location lacking ambience. This could be because the airport location provides a steady stream of travellers and the restaurant doesn't have to live on repeat business.

Taste of food was pretty good, however, even though the restaurant was quite empty, the temperature of the meal was lukewarm at best and there was an odd odor.
