“Best sangria and guacamole”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2012

Spent 5 nights in Toronto and ate here 3 times, the food was fantastic and the service outstanding. We had the house sangria, guacamole shrimp tacos and burritos the first night and after we let the waiter order for us, everything was fantastic. And the spicy hot chocolate is out of this world.

“A great place for Mexican in Toronto”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2012

I've been here a few times with friends. The food is always great. Portion sizes are huge. Highly suggest the margaritas, sangrias and the guacamole. I've had good and bad service so it really matters who you get as a server. Fun atmosphere and reasonably priced.

“Not Your Typical Mexican Restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2012

Five of us had reservations at Milagro on a Friday evening. When we arrived our table was not ready and it took 10-15 minutes before it was available. The staff were apologetic. All of us were offered a complimentary Margarita for our troubles. The menu offers several authentic Mexican dishes. All of us ordered from the Classics section of the menu. Our orders included Chicken, Pork, Beef and vegetarian entrees. Our waiter was knowledgable about the dishes and was able to make recommendations with confidence. Our food and drinks arrived on time. All of us found our dishes tasty and cooked as ordered. The restaurant was quite full and pleasantly noisy at 11:00pm! We walked away from the restaurant, satisfied and happy. An enjoyable meal indeed.

“Authentic Mexican Experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2012

It felt like we were dining in Mexico from the moment we walked in. Even the host and server greeted us in Spanish. We shared the Shrimp Ceviche and Cheese Dip to start. Ceviche was fresh but the Cheese Dip wasn't too exciting, even for cheese lovers like us. For dinner we had Chicken Quesadillas and Vegan Enchilladas. Both very tasty and a lot of food! The refried beans they came with were really good too. We drank a couple pitchers of sangria which can be very expensive unless you go on a Thursday when sangria's on special. The only downfall to Milagro was the service. Our server was nice and all but sooooooo slow. We were waiting for our bill, table cleared and drinks empty, for at least 20 minutes before he clued in and brought it over. Also, our main dishes came our when were not even halfway through our appetizers. I'd go back to Milagro and maybe try the one on Mercer just to compare.
