“Luma Terrific Service and Good Food”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

Luma in the Bell Light box building in downtown Toronto offers a chance to enjoy an "off beat" movie as well as some great food. The movie listings are available on line and are not your usual theater fare. The service at Luma is amazing and the food good.In the summer the patio/deck is nice.In winter not much of a view from the windows but central location and film/dinner combination make it worth the visit.

“Winterlicious @ Luma”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

My boss took me and a couple of girls from work there for Winterlicious today. The meal was very good. Butternut squash soup, lamb and cake for dessert. Our waiter was great, service was very good and our meal came pretty quick. Would definitely recommend it.

“Excellent pick”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

I've found that some restaurants aren't the greatest during WInterlicious/Summerlicious, but Luma exceeded my expectations, and a better choice than most of the restaurants across King Street (which the window wall has a great view of). I had the trout, my companion had the pork, and both were excellent. The wine list is great. The service is top notch, and I really want to return and try their regular menu soon.

It's a little hidden on the second floor of the TIFF building.

“Oliver & Bonacini are MASTERS”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

Connie and I celebrated her birthday at O & B's restaurant in TIFF building. We have enjoyed several of their venues and this visit did not disappoint. The food was excellent, our staff person - Tran was tremendous as was our sommelier Anthony. O & B work to ensure that the food and staff service are beyond reproach and they certainly succeeded on this occassion

“Fun Place”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

First of all this really is a cool fun place to visit. The Atmosphere is relaxing. Background music, light, seating, temperature, all perfect. The service was exceptional. Friendly, quick without rushing, knowledgeable and just pleasant. The food was good but not great. The ceviche not the best we had (actually it consisted of scallops) but not bad either. My pasta dish was like good comfort food and pretty tasty. m
My husbands steak however not so good. He did not care for the way it was marinated and did not like the consistency of the meat either. However we both agreed the fries were yummy.
Great Martinis, I had the classic. Good Wine and Beer choices.
All in all we would go back.
