Love this hotel!! We will stay here whenever we visit Toronto. Top notch!! Great location and the indoor walkway is an added bonus! Great modern yet comfy rooms! Love that Lcbo and Longo's
are right there. Check-in was a breeze!

This review needs to begin and end with the following names GREGORY and SUSAN. These are the respective names of the concierge staff at Hôtel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square. They made this stay, one of the best vacations for my family and I. We felt, the entire time, that we were the only guests at this fine establishment. Every request was fulfilled. Every wish was granted. For one week, prior to our arrival, Gregory worked with me, and reviewed with me, every detail, to ensure that my trip would be fantastic... and that is exactly what it was... fantastic. From the exotic flowers, that were in the room for my wife upon arrival, to the "Frozen" and "Ninja Turtle" picture books, for my children. No detail was overlooked. My family has had enjoyed the privilege of enjoying the luxuries provided by establishments such as, The Four Seasons and The Ritz Carlton, and I can honestly say, this hotel staff, spared no expense providing the very same luxuries.
Now, as much as I would love to to make this review solely about Gregory and Susan (Hotel concierge staff), I understand that no review would be complete without talking about the rooms themselves; which were very unique (in a good way). In addition to being modern, updated and clean, they were romantic/sexy without being cheesy (something that is very difficult to achieve).
Proximity to the air canada center is a major plus. The arena, itself, is a beautiful venue (so try and take in an event while you're in town) but the fact that we could access it through a skywalk and never have to exposed to the cold weather was awesome.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this review, it needs to begin AND END with mentioning GREGORY and SUSAN. I have not stayed in any other establishment in Toronto (this was my first visit), so I can not make a bold statement such as, "this is the best hotel in a city that has hundreds of hotels." But what I can say is, if you want a UNIQUE EXPERIENCE, customized to your every need and desire, than this is the HOTEL for you. As a very discerning traveler, I put many hours of research, into hotel reviews, before booking a vacation for my wife and kids (which mean everything to me). My expectations were, not only met but also, exceeded. Take a moment, before your next trip to Toronto, and do the following:
1.Imagine what you would want to make it the most memorable experience
2.Call Hotel Le Germain Maple leaf Square
3.Ask for Gregory and/or Susan
4.Tell them everything you wish
5.Then watch your dream trip become a reality
This may sound unbelievable, which is why I titled the review "MUST EXPERIENCE IT TO BELIEVE IT"!

Wonderful stay. The amenities and staff were 5 stars. Getting to this location can be difficult due to the Canada Air Center being right next door. Be sure to plan around any events being held there. If you arrive during an event you it will be very difficult to get in to park as the police will have everything blocked off.

Room Tip: I stayed in 620 - it overlooked the ventilation system of the Air Canada Center. I would recommend...

This is an incredible hotel that we have enjoyed staying at for a variety of reasons. A couples weekend away, multi-day work conferences, or a mother-daughter concert weekend; we have loved staying here each and every time. The rooms are very modern which we love, the location is convenient (as is the LCBO and Longos in the same building) but what really seals the deal is the outstanding customer service. As guests we are treated like royalty and all staff members go out of their way to ensure your stay is amazing. If you are thinking about staying here, do it!

This was our 35th year making some time to go downtown Toronto take in some shows, sports and a little shopping. We have mostly stayed at Yorkdale Four Seasons over the years. We have to say changing to the Le Germain Maple Leaf Square was an awesome experience and one we intend to repeat. The doormen right through the entire staff everything was perfect. Our room was excellent nicely separating a living space from the bedroom. We liked to say a special thank you to Michael at the bar, made our late night cocktails that much more enjoyable.

the staff are friendly and professional. the location is excellent. the rooms are stylish and impossibly clean. the rainfall shower head is wonderful. the bed is the perfect blend of soft and firm. the rate was very, very reasonable. and, if you get freaked out when your hotel's windows are hermetically sealed (like i do) the rooms also allow you to open a window enough to bring fresh air in.

there is even a full service grocery store on the lower level that puts a whole foods to shame- especially on prices. this alone makes it an amazing place to stay.

the ONLY CONS, and i use the term lightly, is there is a big, blown up picture of a shirtless volleyball dude hanging over the bed. aside from being a little too "st. elmo's fire" / 80's, i for one have no real desire to sleep under the image of a half-naked man. that, and room service (a dessert and an order of sliders) came out to $44.

when my wife and retrun to the great city of toronto, you can bet this will be the only place we ever stay.

This was the second time I stayed at a Hotel Le Germain and I have to say it is definitely my favourite home away from home. The staff were amazing from the warm welcome at the front desk to fabulous room service after a long trip, wonderful concierge who escorted me to the perfect seat in a lovely restaurant and most amazing bartender who checked the weather and highway conditions, called Westjet for an earlier flight and arranged for a town car to take me to the airport. The rooms were beautiful and fabulous breakfast every morning. A big thank you to everyone of the staff who went above and beyond in every way to roll out the welcome carpet and make me feel completely pampered and amongst family and friends. You are doing a fantastic job!!

Room Tip: Rooms were excellent. Wouldn't change a thing.

Dear KathPaisley,

Thank you very much for the praise. This winter, we have found that the lounge is an excellent place to break the news about road conditions and weather to our guests!

We are honoured to be considered amongst your family and friends, and look forward to seeing you soon.

Thanks again,
