We'd always wanted to visit Nigara Falls, but thought that a week there may be a little too long. So, we decided to take in a few days in Toronto after our Niagara trip before flying back to the UK. After reading the reviews of Le Germain, and its location near the CN tower and the Rogers centre, we made it our choice, and were absolutely delighted with everything.
The room, indeed the entire hotel is imaculately pristine, and the team incredibly efficient from unloading our taxi on the way in, to loading another on our way out. I used the word team quite specifically, because the management of the guests every wish is seamless and consistent.
The CN tower is only a stroll away, and of course we did the whole tower experience.
One major find was the super food outlet called Longos, which is in the same block as Le Germain. First class food to eat in their self service restaurant, or to go if you like. With a Starbucks and Corks bar serving great locally made beer- fantastic! you select quality foods into containers or a plate, and whatever you chose was simply paid for by weight. The quality of food and service cannot be over stated. We will be visiting Toronto again, and it will be Le Germain again, we are certain Le Germain is unlikely to be matched by any other, and never bettered. Best hotel we ever stayed at, and we get around the world a lot!

Room Tip: Our room was at the front of the hotel, but despite the traffic outside, it was blissfully quiete, with good blinds keeping out the early morning sun, I think any room you choose will delight you. We never sampled the pool or spa, but have no doubt of the qualty there too.

Stayed one night only, which was a shame as this place is lovely.
The rooms are spacious and clean with great views. The bed was soooo comfortable.
The staff couldn't be more helpful, it was an absolute pleasure staying here.
As we were only there one night, we didn't get to see much of the surrounding area, but there were plenty of nice bars and restaurants around, we had a snack in the hotel bar after a night out and this was very tasty and well presented.
If I'm ever in Toronto again, I will definitely stay here.

Hotel and staff are excellent. It's a bit walk to the business centre, otherwise a great place to stay. Offset is you are close to lots of good places to eat on King street.

Booked it based on the Tripadvisor rating for the end of a business trip/holiday with my wife and son, so wasn't sure what to expect. As it was not cheap, I was a bit twitchy, but from walking into reception to seeing our room for the first time it was just a pure delight. Loads of space, super modern, comfortable, very friendly and efficient staff - all made for a great stay.

And as far as location goes, also hard to beat. A short walk to the CN Tower, 10 minutes to the Harbour Front and also to the entertainment district, 20 minutes to the Eaton Centre and the Lawrence Market and just opposite Union station, but in a quiet part of town. The only thing is I'm not sure how quiet it would be during a big game at the Maple Leaf Stadium..?

One small suggestion for improvement - the breakfasts were very tasty and healthy, but were limited in variety. A daily 'special' (e.g. pancakes and that fantastic Canadian Maple syrup), or scrambled eggs to go on the bagels) would be much appreciated, specially at the price of the hotel.

Apart from that, perfect in every way. We'll be back!
