Thank you for your input into the property. We have already been doing some pricing of new light fixtures at the entryway to each room. We do hope your stay was enjoyable and that we see you next time you’re in Toronto

Polite staff, room has been recently re-decorated, very small bathroom but nice shower. Some sound proofing issues and not the best for handicap access although there is a ramp outside to access hotel, it is not well marked.

We are please you enjoyed your stay and thank you for commenting on our ongoing upgrades to our rooms. It’s nice to hear feedback on the choices made when it comes to renovations. We are in the process of adding some additional soundproofing to all rooms but are only about 75% done. I do hope the next time you’re in the city when get the chance to serve you again.

The room was large and clean however the bathroom was small and lacking towel bars. We were on the 7th floor and so noise from the street was very minimal. Beds are comfortable and the blinds block out light very effectively.

The pool area is nice but unfortunately pool is quite shallow (as is the hot tub oddly enough).

Thank you for letting us know about your stay. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. When it comes to Wyndham Reward points if you book direct with Ramada be it online, phone or in person you would receive points. If you have booked online with a third party web site and have paid them and not the hotel directly you would unfortunately not receive points. Please do not hesitate to contact myself the next time you’re in Toronto and I will make sure you get the points.

***We stayed here in September 2011*** We reserved a room at the Jarvis House B&B up the street from the Ramada. We ended up getting a refund from the Jarvis House because it was not as advertised...dirty! Now we didn't have a place to stay so we looked. Our visit to Toronto took place the same time as the Toronto Internation Film Festival (TIFF) so our search for a hotel was an adventure as most had no vacancy and if they did it was the most expensive rooms left. We circled the city and ended up back where we started, so we got a room at the Ramada. We were met by friendly staff and the lobby was inviting. Our room left much to be desired. Very outdated and need of a make-over. Like others have said the carpets were in need of replacement and the bathroom was old in need of rehabilition. We kept our shoes on until we got into bed. Luckily we didn't spend to much time at the hotel as we trekked our way about Toronto. The Ramada is close to everything as we walked everywhere we went...to the CN Tower, the lakefront and everywhere else in between. It about a 30-40 minute walk to the lake. The park across the street Allen Park I believe) does attract vagabonds who call it home for the night.

I've seen from other negative reviewers and the Ramada's response was they installed new carpet, but it needs more than that. I hope Ramada looks seriously at these reviews.

Thank you for letting us know about your stay in September 2011. We have done so much in the last year and a half. As you mentioned in your review we have re-done all the carpets (room and halls). Also all bathrooms have been 100% renovated and we have gone to all flat screen LED televisions. All our suites have been full upgraded with new hard goods also. We are pleased to hear that the staff was warm and welcoming and do hope when you’re in the city again you do come and see all our upgrades.
