There was a lot to do and see, as well as an astronomy club who had set up outside to let patrons look at the Sun through specially filtered telescopes. The museum itself had cool exhibits, but compared to others we have visited, it was just ok. Still worth a visit, especially since it is out a ways from downtown, which gave us a chance to see some more Toronto neighborhoods.

There is something for everyone here. I love the interactive exhibits and the Imax movie is a 'must see'. We've taken out-of-town visitors to the Ontario Science Centre and all have agreed it was a great way to spend a day. The admission price is a bit high but when you've seen everything there it is well worthy the price.

Locals love it too, if you are visiting be prepared to spend at least a day to get full benefit of the admission price - better yet combine it with a film show at the Imax. Displays are hands on and interactive, great for kids and teenagers too. Check their website as there are seasonal specials e.g. special displays, themes, star viewing etc, the OSC is within easy reach by car or the TTC.

The Ontario Science Centre is a great way to spend the day if you are visiting Toronto. It is packed full of attractions that tourists would love to do. There is also the Imax dome that is a must see when visiting the science centre. The prices of travelling to the science centre are reasonable. If you buy an imax ticket with purchase you save $7. Right now they have Game-On 2.0 which is 60 years of gaming in one exhibit. My personal favourite was the racing centre that was very hands-on. In my opinion, it is one of the better attractions in Toronto and I highly think that you should go and see the what the Toronto Science Centre has to offer.

Our kids ages 4 and 6 love the science center and we have been members for a couple years now. Always something fun to see and do and a great way to spend a few hours when the weather isn't great (although it is often very crowded on rainy weekend days as everyone has same idea!). They are now more interested in seeing some of the IMAX films which my husband and I also enjoy. My oldest is even doing a week of science camp there and she is very excited about that!
