“Neat place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

Visited the science centre when i was visiting some family. I've visited a lot of science centre's accross Canada and this one was neat. Some of the exhibits were empty or there were lineups, but overall a neat experience for kids. You have to pay for parking which being in downtown Toronto, was expected... but wish we didn't have to pay as much. Also honours the canadian association of science centre's (if you have a membership to other science centres in canada you can get in for free) but the girl at the front did not like it. Was a little rude about it. If i had kids i'd probly go there again.

“Great place to bring the kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012 via mobile

The Science Centre is showing it's age but there has been a good attempt at keeping the exhibits up-to-date and in good working condition. The planetarium and IMAX theatre are excellent. The pricing is way out of line. Very expensive for a family. Tourists should purchase a City Pass.

“Love it!”

It's just darned fun. Always educational. If you pay to see the movie in that super D movie you'll probably get a little motion sickness - it's worth the experience!

“A Great Place to Explore, But You Might Want to Wait”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2012

My fiancee and I went to the Ontario Science Centre during a 2 day trip to Toronto. Both of us are big science geeks, so we had a blast. A large number of exhibits are interactive, including the opportunity to pilot a space-designed hover craft. The IMAX movie To The Arctic was fun and insightful, and everyone in the theatre seemed to enjoy it. The price of admission is pretty steep, setting us back $56 for admission and the IMAX film, but we spent a solid 4 hours there so we got good value for the money. I definitely recommend checking out the Ontario Science Centre, but you may want to wait a while before going. We noticed that about 6 or 7 attractions were completely closed for updates/remodels, which meant that we didn't get to experience everything that the OSC had to offer. Give them a few more months to get the new exhibits ready, then prepare for a fantastic day!
