Small space and not every floor was open.
Expensive for what you get...
They change the shows quite often so make sure you go when they have a show oppose to when they are setting one up, as it will cost you the same to see half the building.

I love shoes and am intrigued by history, this Museum has both! What a lovely way to spend an afternoon, surrounded by shoes and immersed in history. :)

This place is a haven for those with shoe fetishes. Though most of the display's are filled with women's shoes, the creativity and designs of them, are automatically an attraction. Filled with historical, fashionable and ethnically inspired shoes, it is certainly a place that you will not soon forget.

This was a great last minute trip before heading to the airport. Being the shoe girl that I am there is no way I was going to miss the SHOE museum! It was a great exhibit and seeing the origin of some shoes, how they're made was very interesting. Even the guys enjoyed it. A definite go while in Toronto!

I went to the Bata Shoe Museum numerous times and it was the same experience every time. The museum is a bit small but the exhibits are very intriguing and it will occupy everyone, even little kids, for more than an hour. Also, the staff are very welcoming and the admission is donation only, so you can pay any amount that you wish. They also have many wonderful special exhibits and I would highly recommend I visit to this small museum during your visit to Toronto.
