“Authentic historical fun!”

We had a relative visiting from Britain and figured it might be a fun day out - it was a lot better than we ever expected! We won't wait for another visitor to head back on our own!

“Wonderful look at our past”

With a working mill and lots of demonstrations by qualified staff, this is a great educational experience for children and adults.

“Simply wonderful experience - love it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

A beautiful place - educational, scenic and such an escape.
We traveled on Toronto subway from Eaton Centre to Finch station. Then got bus - included in cost - out to main road near the village.
Beautiful maple trees welcome to main entrance.
Food was good - a good lunch at a fair price.
Shop could do with more stock. The souvenirs are ok but more craft stuff would be good - doll kits; embroidery and knitting materials - more patchwork at reasonable prices.
Enacters are excellent and keep in role.
The houses as exhibits are fantastic. I could live in the big red one - The Waltons!
As visitors from the UK this place is very impressive.
A heavenly place

“Always great for an afternoon”

I love visiting this place - attended with my grandson and he had a blast...although didn't understand the timelines...but he did enjoy the farm setting, displays, people dressed in period costumes and all of the open space.
