“Great variety of art”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

Several exhibits ongoing at once. Canadian artists as well as impressionists, Asian and other art. Traditional and modern.
Nice cafe.

Dislikes: Some rooms had paintings from floor to ceiling but no placards beside them, so I couldn't figure out who the painters were.

“Diego & Frida great exhibit.”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

we were familiar somewhat with DR's work from the Detroit murals and some of his work in Mexico City, but FK's work was known to us only through books and the movie about her life. It was great to see some of their works in real.

“An art museum that is itself a work of art”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

There is a very nice collection with a special nod to Canadian artists. We caught the excellent special exhibition Frida and Diego which was well organized and informative. Overall the qualities of light and space made viewing the art a pleasure. We bought annual memberships as we planned to return a second time during our visit to Toronto which was more cost effective than individual admissions

“A wonderful space with a great collection”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

I love the spaces the renovation has created. Our latest visit was to see the Frida and Diego exhibition and it was a great show, well worth the trip from Stirling
