Whether you know Chagal's work or not, this is a must see exhibition; the updated gallery is pure Canadiana and the works on display by Chagal are a fine representation of his great work. JESleeth

What more could you ask for? The Chagall exhibit was great, but I was blown away by the Lawren Harris pieces.

This Gallery is a real gem for the people of Ontario. We were lucky enough to take in the Chagall exhibit and the rest of the Gallery is just as impressive. Plan to spend a day, you won't regret it.

The food is excellent and very well priced. There is a variety of salads, sandwiches and desserts plus soup every day. It is not typical cafeteria fare but really good food. There are choices for vegetarians. It is a pleasant room to relax in and have a break while visiting the gallery.

Love how the AGO looks and feels now. They have married customer service with upscale art and welcome families which is a change from the past. The kids love the scavenger hunt cards given out at the front and make it a team effort to find their specific art a la the Acropolis Museum in Athens.
