I stayed here for work in September. I was in the North Tower, on the 9th Floor. The hotel is by any standard very large. It has two towers, a spacious lounge and bar / restaurant on the ground floor and of course a lobby with a small convenience store as per the brand norms. The room I had was a double queen, it was very clean and the furniture practical, if a little old fashioned in the North American style (large, with simple electric switches). The bathroom was well lit and I liked the water pressure. The shower was a simple affair with 2 different settings.
The weak point, in my opinion was the air conditioning unit. When I entered the room the wall-mounted control panel read 22 degrees. Four hours later, with the desired temperature set to 19, it was still 22 degrees. The air volume was low, and the noise high.
Later I switched off the air conditioning and slept - when I woke up, the temperature was 22, so the effect of the unit was effectively nil. Still, I slept well and the bed was extremely comfortable. I had an ironing board and iron, safe and coffee machine so frankly for a short stay I was happy and everything was fine. Located very close to the Eaton Center, subway, supermarkets and other shops this is an excellent base for work or pleasure.More
