“Almost any book you want”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2013

The selection of books is really great, there are also magazines and movies you can borrow too. In case the book you want isn't in stock at that particular branch, you can ask for it and they will send it there so you can borrow it.

There is no fee to everyone who lives, works, study or owns property in Toronto. If you don't fall into any of these categories, you can get a library card for three months by paying $30 CAD.

“The biggest and best public library system in the world”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Full of books and papers and the peopelp who love books and papers. The staff are welcoming and acrtuallt encourage to use the sevrices on offer. Stay, the say., and smile and they mean it too. This service is an inporation to a Brit as our services are slashed and burned by a government that doesn't see the value of stories, the meaning of a safe space or the power of social mobility. The dome downstairs at Lillian H Smith library has a pelasing ehco.

“Useful if you need to get something printed”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

Used the Parliament Street branch to book in online and print our boarding cards for a flight with Air Transat. Computers with full internet access are available without charge for 30 minutes at a time. Printing cost 15 cents a page.

Also bought three books that were no longer required by the library for 5 Canadian Dollars.

Staff very helpful

“Truly a Knowledge Centre for all”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2013

Torontonians are fortunate to have such an extensive selection of Library services in the city. The collection of reference and loan material is excellent, the number of accessible locations considerable and the quality of staff support extremely high. I have used several branches and the online services, and find each point of access efficient and useful.
