We went out of our way to have lunch here based on reviews and TV hype.
We were pleasantly greeted and promptly seated. The tables, floors and chairs had a grimey stickiness. The bbq brisket sandwich was bland at best and the bottom part of the bun was soaking wet with a watery sauce. It came with a small quarter pickle for $11. My wife had the smoked turkey sandwich. It also tasted very bland and came between two thin slices of dry bread. It came with a very small side salad for $13. A soggy small salad in a very small bowl is $5. My 2 young children had the hot dog ($4) which was very salty and came with no condiments, except for the mustard and ketchup at the table. They shared a small basket of super thin shoestring fries ($5) which were dark brown and considerably overcooked. The neighbourhood is great even though the parking is expensive. If you are looking for an overpriced flavourless deli experience, then this place fits the hype.
