The zoo is a great place to visit. If you don't have much time to spend you can definitely skip the Canadian zone, most of the animals you can meet in your backyard.

The most terrible part was a parking lot. We were stuck for about 2 hours without moving in the parking lot. They have some issue with traffic lights and if you are leaving during the rush hour, you will be stuck waiting forever. Specially with small children, it could be very hard.

The zoo has a great varity of animals but some of the has not enough space as the Jaguar, Gorillas and other. I understand that they have a long an hard winter and need to cover the places where they keep the animals. But they have enough place to improve the animals areas

The Toronto Zoo is a true must see for visitors and locals alike. The grounds are huge with ample space for each animal. There is such a wide variety of animals from Canada and across the world.
The zoomobile is a worthwhile investment for getting to different points in the zoo. It's a lot of walking. Strollers are a must if taking infants and toddlers.
There is a good selection of food.

The zoo is large and you will need a map to navigate the surroundings. With animals from around the world there is certainly a lot to see and learn. Children and adults will love this attraction. Getting to the location was easy there is a bus that drops you off right infront of the zoo.

The place is huge. Be prepared to do a lot of walking and spend all day there. Lots of animals to see. My kids loved it. You can take your own food in.
