Rich people's homes from the Gilded Age are usually pretty much the same. Casa Loma, with its unique architecture, is worth a look from the outside. Whether you pay to get in depends on your tastes and interests. However, if it is a warm summer day as it was on our visit, I would pass. The upper floors and the tower were stifling and claustrophobic with the heat and humidity.
On the plus side, it is an awesome building and the first floor rooms are impressive to say the least.
