this place was marvelous. the architecture was taken during the medieval time, feels like you're in an old english place. they preserved the place with care.don't forget to buy citypass if you're planning to visit Toronto!

Wow!!!! What a piece of Toronto history!!!! Never knew Sir Pellatt built the hydro plant at Niagara Falls with 2 partners and that Sir Adam Beck and the government of Ontario took it from them (for Ontario) without one $ of compensation! Not one $!
Unbelievable!!

My family and I used to go there from time to time, very Beautiful old mansion that really looks more like a castle than a house. The history behind the home is fascinating,Though my study was Archaeology, so seeing that is my lovely hope, but still the kids enjoy it, because it has lots of different entertainment.

We went to Casa Loma as part of a City Pass promotion, 5 attractions for approx. half the price. The outside is very majestic, the castle rises above all around it and looks like it was built in the 1800's instead of the 1900's.
When we went in we were a little sad, looking at this grand old dame, we could see what it used to be, and what years of tourists traveling through had done to it. The castle is very clean and neat, the rooms behind the barriers are still pristine. The old girl really need some TLC where people walk and mingle though.
