A must-visit when coming to Toronto. Shops and restaurants line the street for all tastes and ages. Easy walk from Union Station.

This is where Canada's out of control immigration by the former federal governments is showcased in a very bad way. This problem has started to correct itself, or so I am told, but they have had some very violent incidents involving shoot-em-ups between gang members on the street and inside of the largest shopping mall on the street. Innocent bystanders get hit, including one young Girl that was killed on boxing day and people in a food court. The street itself is of interest but be very, very careful! If you want to see it, see it quick and then go into safer areas.

I'm a city girl. Don't get me wrong, I like quiet too-usually when I'm sleeping-but nevertheless, Yonge Street strikes me as one of those "Something for everyone" streets. But most importantly, if you like food and I mean all kinds, American, Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, Japanese (even though several Japanese restaurants are actually run by Chinese or Koreans) and Korean food, just to name a few-then you'll love Yonge Street. These restaurants are everywhere.
